How We Got Here

For nearly 10 years, Devin, his sister, and their father shared their home with their mother as she became bed-bound. It was a family effort, their father doing what he could, and Devin and his sister taking on the daily hands-on caregiving together. They were there morning and night, handling her personal care, managing her comfort, and making sure she never felt like a burden. They made their home her sanctuary.

They did all of this while attending nursing school part-time. Late nights studying after long days of caregiving. Clinicals layered on top of care routines that never stopped. It was not easy, but for Devin and his sister, stepping back was never an option. If they were going to care for people, they were going to do it right. They both became Registered Nurses.

And through those years, something became impossible to ignore. The gap between the care families desperately need and the care that is actually available to them is real, wide, and deeply personal. They had felt it from the inside. The exhaustion of figuring it out on their own, the uncertainty of whether they were doing enough, and the quiet weight that never quite lifts when you are responsible for someone you love more than anything.

Ishar CareConnect is a California-licensed non-medical home care agency led by Registered Nurses who have been in the role of family caregivers themselves. We built this agency to fill the gap we experienced firsthand, providing professional, reliable, compassionate daily care to clients who deserve to remain home with dignity.

A Registered Nurse oversees every care plan. Every caregiver is background-checked, trained, and personally matched. Every family we serve has a Care Coordinator who is responsive and accountable.

Devin has been a California Registered Nurse since 2015. Before earning his license, he and his sister spent nearly a decade providing daily hands-on care for their mother, who was bed-bound. That experience shaped not just his clinical perspective but his deep belief that compassionate, professional home care can completely change a family's quality of life.

Devin founded Ishar CareConnect to bridge the gap between the nursing world and the families who need reliable, non-medical support at home, care that is organized, accountable, and genuinely personal.
